Tej Virk is the London, UK-based Co-Founder and Managing Partner at NLX Capital. NLX Capital is a global investing platform comprising merchant banking, climate finance & venture capital, focused on creating nature-inspired sustainable ventures to propel all humanity forward. Tej is an experienced global entrepreneur with a successful track record in capital markets, corporate finance, and pharmaceuticals. He spent 15 years in capital markets and investment banking at BMO Financial Group, where he was Managing Director, Global Equities in London, and top ranked by the prestigious Thomson Reuters Extel survey. He has raised billions of dollars in over 100 IPOs, follow-on capital raises for public companies across the Commodities, Renewables, Technology, Healthcare and Consumer sectors and debt issues for Corporate, Sovereign and Supranational issuers. Recently, Tej has held C-level roles at multiple fast-growing Europe-based pharmaceutical companies driving over $500M in M&A transactions, global strategy, business development, and capital raises – including an IPO onto the NASDAQ stock exchange. Virk received a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
