Oded has over 25 years of experience as a Senior Executive in the Financial Securities Industry, with a proven track record of building and leading profitable organizations. His experience includes senior positions at Manulife Financial, Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., CIBC Wood Gundy, and Merrill Lynch. He was also the CEO of Gravitas Securities Inc., a full-service boutique investment firm with offices in Toronto and Vancouver.

In 2017, Oded founded 5X Capital, a Canadian-based merchant bank that advised and invested in select companies poised for exponential growth. Along with providing capital, 5X offered advisory services ranging from go-public assistance and mergers and acquisitions to formal Board representation.

Oded has advised numerous private Canadian corporations on marketing, operations, and corporate governance, and has experience as a board member for both private and public markets. Before entering the financial services sector, Oded practiced law with a Toronto firm. He served as President of the Canada Israel Chamber of Commerce from 2010 to 2023.

A former competitive athlete, Oded played college football and was a member of the Israel National Hockey Team. He and his wife are proud parents of five children.
