Oded Orgil

Oded has over 25 years of experience in capital markets as a financial advisor and senior executive for both bank-owned and national independent firms. As a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch, he achieved executive-level status early in his career, working with families, business owners, and professionals to manage their wealth and estate planning.

He moved on to hold senior executive positions at HSBC, Canaccord Genuity and Manulife Securities. He was also CEO of Gravitas Securities, a national full-service boutique investment firm. During his tenure, Oded oversaw the firm's expansion to Vancouver, San Jose, and New York. In 2017 he founded 5X Capital Management a boutique merchant bank that advises and invests n growth companies situated for exponential growth. Throughout his career, Oded has participated in over $10 billion of capital market transactions and acquisitions.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Oded practiced law with a downtown Toronto firm. He served as President of the Canada Israel Chamber of Commerce and co-founded Invest In Israel. He is also a former varsity football player and a member of the Israel National Hockey team.
