Derek Hall

Managing Director, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions

Derek currently holds the position of Managing Director, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at ArcStone. Over the last 20 years, Derek has established himself as a well-known investment banker based in Toronto, working with Schedule I banks.

He started his career with TD Securities Inc. in 2004 and worked in progressively senior roles until 2021, predominantly in the M&A group. He was a senior member of the M&A internal review committee, responsible for producing highly complex financial analyses supporting formal valuations and fairness opinions for Canadian and US clients.

Following his tenure at TD Securities Inc., Derek spent a brief period working with another Schedule I bank before joining the team of highly talented professionals at ArcStone. He currently sits on the board of Arlo Solutions Inc., a rapidly growing company in the construction and engineering space.
